At Wide Area Video Surveillance (WAVSTV), systems automation is at the core of contemporary property management efficiency. Superior intelligent technology systems work with Voice over Internet (VoIP) and various WAVSTV video terminal devices such as video door phones and IP Access control systems.
Reliably proven under the most demanding of environments, WAVSTV’s systems operate as a full suite of products and services designed to function together as a single cohesive unit that helps facilitate proficient building management initiatives. System integration supports IP video, video door-phone management services, IP phone systems and access control systems – enabling communication on a single platform enabling smarter, more efficient decisions while enhancing customer safety and productivity.
A new Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) product has been launched by Wide Area Video Surveillance offering its customers access to its recently acquired network cloud servers and ground-breaking video management software, eliminating the need for on-site customer owned network video recorders and surveillance equipment.
This revolutionary “ready-to-use” video surveillance technology means that customers can now access cameras installed on-site at their locations remotely from anywhere, as they would if the core recording equipment were installed on their own premise. The service is not reliant upon expensive-to-install hardware technology or video management solutions and software owned by the end-user. A negligible monthly fee is paid by the customer to access the cloud-based services eliminating the expenditure and rapid obsolescence inherent in most of today’s mainstream video surveillance infrastructures.
VsaaS is a comprehensive intelligent digital video solution because it includes the building blocks of legacy video surveillance systems and is integrated alongside other emerging technologies such as push video alerts, smart recording, video analytics, etc. – all controlled and operated in a single and secure off-site ecosystem. Are you ready to migrate to the VSaaS cloud or seeking a new Video surveillance provider? Historically, access control systems consisted of Basic (non-intelligent) readers that simply read card numbers or PINs on key cards and forwarded analog signals over many wires between remote door readers and central door control panels in the back room. Legacy central control panels only supported a finite number of doors and door readers, which ultimately required a complete system installation... the ability to expand the systems to accommodate additional doors was a costly endeavor.
The Intellipoint™ access control readers are different. Door readers can flexibly and incrementally be added as required, and the number of doors and card readers supported by the core Intellipoint™ software is unlimited. The Intellipoint™ IP-based door card readers replace legacy panel based door control technology and act as small localized intelligent computers that store information about the access control system’s use inside of each door reader. Stored on a basic computer running a Windows O/S, the Intellipoint™ software stores the credentials of authorized users and sends this information along with all of the signals needed to control access to each door to the Intellipoint™ door readers where the information is stored. Since programming is localized into each door reader, the system operates even during times of network failure.
The Intellipoint™ software is a flexible and powerful application that allows administrative personnel to define user credentials and to access a database of door reader locations, badge/credential assignments, time in-out logs, shift calendars and entry permissions.Intellipoint™ is a fully integrated access control solution protecting everything from industrial sites, manufacturing facilities, multi-dwelling residential environments, government facilities and more.
